Rubric: Lessons In Photography Techniques
15 Points (Presentation)
_____ It is apparent the student researched the topic and added information (in his/her own words) to the presentation
_____ Student took their own photos showing various settings (at least three that do not work with a record of the setting you used) and some that do. Each picture should be in your presentation with the settings on each one.
_____ Student provided a quick tip handout for students to keep on how to try the technique on their own
_____ Reviewed steps to the class on how to do what you did
_____ Any examples of photos used were credited with the location (website, book) it was found beneath the photo.
_____ Student demonstrated creative problem solving
_____ Images must demonstrate knowledge of photography terms learned in class up such as rule of thirds, vantage point, continuity, etc… as well as the concept they studied.
One Point Each (10 points)
_____ There are at least 6 strong final images in a gallery on your blog page from this project as well as placing the files in a folder with your name in the class assignment folder
_____ Final images must be saved to a USB drive in a folder titled “Lessons in Photography”. In that folder you should have two folders, “for print” (300 dpi. images) and “for web” (72 dpi. images)
_____ All images should be 8” X 10”
_____ All images must be uploaded to a gallery show on your blog page along with an explanation of the project showing good and bad examples with camera settings.
_____ Student explained the assignment
_____Why did you chose the settings or subjects?
_____ Things you learned? What were you most successful at? What things were challenging or frustrated you, etc...
_____ Which Image is your favorite and why?

_____ You will also be required to comment on the work of at least three other students on their websites. Your comments should be based upon terminology you have learned in class.
